Keepsake from your travels: Soap
It took me a long time to figure out my favorite souvenir from my travels. But finally I hit upon the perfect thing for me -- soap. I prefer locally, handmade soaps, but I'll be content with any soaps unique to the area. I've never liked shower gel, always preferring to use bar soap for my bathing needs. And handmade, or at the very least, small batch, all-natural soaps are less likely to produce an allergic reaction, so the souvenir soaps are perfect for me. The bonus of having a usable souvenir is that when I shower using my soaps, I get to remember when and where I got it. It's the perfect thing for me.
